Hi if you have a newborn baby could you please tell me what weight newborn clothing goes up to? Whether its next, bhs, mothercare etc. I have plenty 0-3 up to 18 months new clothes and on the 24th August Im being induced as I have gestational diabetes and the baby weighs 6lb 14 oz already. Im looking to buy second hand newborn clothes for newborn weight but Im unsure of what weight they go up to.

new baby in next goes up to 8lbs though i’ve always found them big in size – so they’d most likely fit a baby up to like 10lbs, and up to 1 month in next is up to 10lbs but they’d most likely fit up to about 12lbs.

if u go on their websites u can see their sizing guides, mostly 0-3 months is ok, but if she is gonna be quite small – ur probably looking at 7lbs ish then it might be worth u getting a small selection of newborn, like 2 packs of sleepsuits, a few tshirts, trousers etc – 0-3 cardigans are ok though from newborn.
